First, Rok is an amazing guide and SUPER knowledgeable about the history of Slovenia, the City and he easily wove the history into the food and wine. The food and wine were amazing as well! Rok lead us from place to place as we experienced the history of the city (and country) chronologically. He was super engaged, answered all of our questions (which were numerous), and didn't hesitate to give specific's as to regional dialects, foods, and historical points of interest. Very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing local stories and geological facts along the way. The hike was tailored well to our abilities and we had a lovely lunch stop at the mountain hut, where we purchased some traditional soup and homemade bread which were both delicious. Would definitely recommend this trip and thank you to Rok for being such a great guide.”
